1. Is it necessary to book in advance to rent a kayak or paddle board?
For small groups of 2 to 4 people, you can come directly to our base at Trabucador Beach. However, if you are a large group or want to make sure you get your SUP board on the weekend, we recommend messaging us on WhatsApp to reserve it.
2. What happens if I book a kitesurfing lesson and there is no wind?
Safety and learning come first. If the wind conditions are not optimal, we postpone the lesson at no extra cost to you or change it to another activity such as beginner surf lessons or kayak tours. You choose!
3. At what age can children start surf or kitesurf lessons?
For beginner surf lessons, children can start from the age of 6–7, as long as they know how to swim. For kitesurfing, we recommend a minimum age of 10–12 years old (depending on weight and height) so they can handle the equipment safely.
4. Is it dangerous to go kayaking or do SUP at Trabucador Beach?
Quite the opposite! Alfacs Bay is one of the safest areas in the Ebro Delta. Its waters are very shallow and calm, which makes it the ideal place for families with children or people trying paddle boarding for the first time. In any case, we will advise you on the best time of day to paddle so your experience is as enjoyable as possible.
5. How do I know if today’s conditions are good for coming?
In the Delta, the weather changes quickly. The best thing is to follow us on our social media or send us a WhatsApp message. We will give you the wind forecast and sea conditions in real time so you do not make the trip for nothing.
